Optimism – expecting the best. The adjective optimistic describes a mental attitude with a
tendency to have a favorable view of situations in life. An optimistic person is more likely to
expect a positive outcome rather than a negative one. Optimists are also able to see the
opportunity in negative development.
Empathy – sympathy with understand of – the capacity to understand or feel what another
person is experiencing from within their frame of reference, that is the capacity to place one’s
self in another’s position.
Self-awareness – having a clear perception of your personality including strengths,
weaknesses, thoughts, beliefs, motivations, and emotions. Self-awareness allows you to
understand other people, how they perceive you, your attitude and their responses to them at
that moment.
Curiosity – the urge you feel to know more about something. Curiosity is a state of being
curious, inquisitive, wondering, ready to poke around and figure something out.
Work ethic – is a belief is that hard work and diligence have a moral benefit in an inherit ability,
virtue or value to strengthen character and individual abilities.
Integrity – follow moral and ethical convictions and doing the right thing in ALL
circumstances, even if no one is watching you. Having integrity means that you are true to
yourself and would do nothing that demeans or dishonors you.
